The Move Up Date

Well folks we have been settling in a week now with just a few trips back to the old house to pick up the remnants that wouldn’t fit in the removal van. TA has set me up in my office so I’ll be trying to catch up with some of the things you have been up all been up to.

A big thanks to all for your best wishers on the move, it was a hectic time but with the help of our two daughters we made it in the end, I don’t think I got rid of much stuff though!

Most of my modelling gear is still to arrive,  as we put most of our furniture and belongings in storage for the inspection period so they could put in staged furniture, (our odd assortment was not quite what the agents thought would look good). I did bring the figures that I brought with me in the car so I’ll post some pictures soon. Until then here are some photos from the windows, they are a bit different from the ones I posted of the old house last year.

Looks great Pat and I hope you will all be very happy in the new home. Moving throws up plenty to do so it is all about prioritising, I’d suggest getting your modelling domain sorted first! Just other thing. In the second picture is that you, Tech Advisor or a Gnome? 😂

The area is called the central gold fields which is pretty well in the center of the state of Victoria and the small town is called Castlemaine. It is part of the area where there was a gold rush back in the 1850’s. Nice place but it can get cold ! no not your kind of cold!!!

Awesome, but sorry you are in Australia, cold for you is like 95C 😂😂😂 I used to get my mother phoning me up from England telling me what the weather was on Shetland, she was never ever right… Australia, baking hot, Alaska freezing cold. 😂

Hey mate , Thanks, 🤓great to hear from you, we have settled in very nicely on this friendly community, just loving being in the countryside! I made sure we had a shed on the property for all the dio’s , pretty much filled it up though might need to build another 🤔. Rods been a great help getting us through the buying and selling hurdles thanks for steering him to us 😀. I trust you and the family are well and keeping clear of the bloody virus 🤓.
