Well folks I never thought I would be doing a diorama of the Vietnam War but after seeing some figures on the Plastic Soldier Review, I thought why not! I selected what I considered the best two sets and decided to do them both at the same time to see the difference in how the two manufacturers turn out their figures.
The sets I chose are, first up, the one from Orion (068), chunky but with excellent detail. The other one is the set from Italeri, American Special Forces (6078), some good poses but lacking in the detail I just commented on.
Well things might be improving now that I have the assistance of someone with a tad more patience than I. Cheers Pat.

Cheers mate, one subject I was concerned about doing but itβs just a little toe in the water for this subject. Maybe I will employ her πππif things keep going wellπ.

Vietnam is an interesting setting. Building a diorama of two pieces is interesting, too. Nice work!

Thanks mate the idea of having the two was to show how different the two brands are.
The number of times I have wanted to put two manufacturers figures on the one show only to realise they would look weird is to numerous to mention π.
