Well Iβm not sure if I mentioned it but we had a week up at Cadell on the Murray which is our favourite place to go and relax for a bit and do some simple activities that we normally do. For those of you that expect seeing some extreme sports, Iβm sorry, but you will be disappointed, I felt the mini golf was a bit extreme but I must have been feeling a bit daring that day!
I have done a post previously on Cadell so I will skip that as I really only wanted to show you some great βmust doβ activities. If any of you get up Echuca way and you like a beer or three, visit The Great Aussie Beer Shed.
I wonβt rabbit on too long but I have to say Neil, the proprietor, has done an amazing job collecting a squillion Beer cans from all over the world! He even has some that I remember buying when I lived in the UK for a couple of years back in the seventies called Tennentβs lager lovelies!! Not sure if you could get away with that one today.
Neil is the most welcoming guy and started the tour with a few lines in regards to his marvellous collection. There are so many things other than his twenty thousand or so beer cans, that it keeps the attention of even the most jaded tourist. After his welcoming chat you are free to roam around on your own, we had about two hours ourselves.
When done, you can buy a beer with a stubby holder. Neil and his wife chat with the group and she also makes sure you pick up a souvenir or two; I give them ten out of ten! Well done mate and Iβm sure we will be back at another time

Looks a great place to visit. Whilst I remember Tennants in the 80s I don’t remember the ‘lovelies’ on the cans.
Cheers,
Pete.
