Sioux indians.

Sioux Indians

I recently acquired these figures on eBay and decided to paint them as a change from completing my existing collection.

The figures proved to be quite satisfactory, and I completed the painting process relatively quickly. I had a box of bases available, which simplified the assembly process. One of my daughters, who is always on the lookout for materials I can use on my dioramas, visited the farm when I was working on the figures and brought me some old, dead thyme sticks, which proved to be an excellent addition.

I highly recommend this set if you are seeking fine Indians for your Waterloo 1815 diorama. In my opinion, Waterloo 1815 has done an exceptional job with minimal flash. While I would like to purchase more figures, I have a significant number of ongoing projects that require my attention.

The idea of painting the dots on the horses originated from a camouflage job that Jeff, the creator of “Inch High Guy,” executed on one of his remarkable Japanese aircraft.

Thank you for your attention.

Thanks Dave, the spice jars have change now from the domed ones to a flat top look, I checked with my wife in regards to which ones look better and she said domes😅, funny that Sam walked in when I was just putting them together and handed me the thyme sticks , perfect mate I will use them straight away, she thought that was a laugh 😉.

Crikey, Pat, these are really nice! 🙂 A good selection of figures! I have one Paraguayan cavalry horse painted in a similar speckled pattern that I based on artwork in a uniform book – yours look spot on! Waterloo 1815 do make nice figures!

Thanks matey👍🏻, I had to refer to my horse book the girls gave me some time back to manage to get anywhere near what they look like but in the end it was a bit of fun.

So handy to have one , I did ask for one years ago thinking along the lines of an artist point of view but I just got photos in mine 😢.
Ok but not quite what I expected 😂😂😉.

😂😂👍🏻, thanks matey, I have to say that at seventy I feel older than that old Thyme😉, I must have been aware that these marvellous guys were coming along as I don’t normally make up red desert bases, the twigs Sam brought up certainly inspired me to do these ones.
