Well just a quick one to show I havenβt been idle in the garden.
I did a thorough spray regime on the apples this year and they are looking good, fingers crossed. (I never thought Iβd be battling apple scab in my retirement).
I picked the garlic a month ago and hung them out to dry and yesterday I cleaned them up and put them into storage. I was happy as I managed to get 100 head this year an improvement from the 60 last seasons.
Yep you guessed it we love our garlic.

That’s a fantastic crop, well done! My beans and potatoes did well this year, everything else either got nibbled by local wildlife or was uprooted by a curious baby!
