Well I trust you all had a great Christmas and I wish you all a very belated Happy New Year!
Today I gathered up a variety of French cavalry Iβd painted last year and have just mounted them on their plinths and bases. There isnβt really much to say except to tell you who made these splendid figures.
First we have Zvezda French dragoons Set 8024. Then we have Waterloo 1815 Set 054. Then just for fun I did some of the old Esci Set 235.
Thatβs all for now so take care and you will most likely hear from me again next week. Cheers, Pat.

Thanks Jeff, if you had asked me two years ago if I would be painting anymore horse it would have been a firm noπ‘, but as they say β never say neverβ π π . I have a large set of β The charge of the light brigade β guys that may be done this year but the large number of horses is a worryπ, we will have to wait and see if I can rustle up the courage eh!

I’ve done a few WWII era cavalry figures myself and I rather enjoyed them. You don’t get too many massed cavalry charges in WWII though.

Go for it! π I had to smile when I saw you’d replied to my comment – as far as I’m concerned you’re writing at breakfast time tomorrow morning, whereas from your perspective I’m just about to go to bed last night!

Its great to see you back at it! Those miniatures look pretty small and the details are very fine. You did a nice job with these and I like your creative bases like always!
