Well today I have a couple of minis of the Light Alliance mob. They are the Windy Bay Warriors
(Set 1) and the Southern Kingdom Warriors (Set 2).
Both sets are pretty good with very minimal flash if any, so I will most likely use them again further down the track. Not much else to say about them. As for the next subject, you can see its certainly going to be a big challenge!!
The story is, I received a gift voucher to spend at Warhammer, the Xmas before last, yes, a year ago! Now, being slack, I didn’t get around to using it. Finally this year I remembered I still had it so when I decided to redeem it, well, you guessed, the voucher didn’t work! The Warhammer folk had, in the meantime, made some changes to their system! This then had to be sorted out, which took a while.
When it was all sorted, I was browsing in the Warhammer shop in Bendigo and was very much taken with the set of trees. However then I remembered my paint skills weren’t quite up to it so decided against it. Having said that, I’m not sure if they are even up to this beauty! At least it comes in sections that I intend to use separately.
Well after giving you something to smile about I’ll sign off.
Keep well folks and maybe the next post will contain some odd bods that I feel I have missed.
Cheers Pat.

Nice cavalry! I like that you painted them in different colors. The terrain kit looks interesting. Will you paint it like this picture on the box or do you have other plans?

Thanks matey , not to sure about the kit though I will try to paint the first one as similar to the plan and see how it goes from there 😉.

Oh I might post my results and see what the team thinks, it’s always good feedback from the more experienced members, they have helped in the past 👍🏻.

Fantastic looking fantasy knights Pat, and go careful when putting together your new scenery, some of the kits take a bit of persuasion ! LOL

Those are really nice, Pat! :-) Very colourful! Either Terry’s very small or the cat’s a monster!

Excellent work Pat they look great. I was flicking through the photos and after about 30 seconds of wondering why miniatures kept moving or in some cases disappearing I realised that there were three bases!

Those are some great looking knights, Pat! That is an exciting purchase too! You might try looking on Youtube for terrain painting videos. I think you could do a lot of drybrushing to paint it up both nicely and quickly!

Thanks Jeff, I will do that as I will need all the help I can get , I remember you advising me to dry brush the last one so I will try and improve my skills on this one.

Here’s something that might give you some inspiration! Its not hard to get some really cool looking terrain with a drybrush and a little creativity 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XlgG7A-W6bo
