Southern Kingdom Warriors.
Hi everyone, I trust you are all keeping well. I’m just doing a brief post on these guys as I feel they are pretty good. They are from Light Alliance and are called Rangers and Scouts. The box says its set no.1, so hopefully they produce a follow up set as they are so good they could be used in a number of theatres. There are four sprues of twelve of which I am showing one. I’m going to use two sprues and have been able to boil the next one to slightly different poses. Until next time keep fit. Rgds Pat.

I can see why you like them Pat, the detail on such little figures is amazing. Very nicely painted too. 🙂l

Thanks Dave , it’s a credit to the sculptor that they have gone the extra mile on these little guys 🤓some of the previous set are pretty average so it’s good for thought on why there is so much variation on sculpturing 🧐

Excellent painting Pat, the models have a good amount of detail, are you using these against your Orcs ?

These came out really nicely. I somehow stumbled across this company’s products and it looks like they make quite a few knock off Lord of the Rings minis which is cool. As a big fan of Lord of the Rings, I’m a fan and can’t wait to see the diorama when its ready! 🙂

Cheers mate , I think I have enough Orcs painted , now I have painted these it’s just to decide who will bulk them out 🤔.

Cheers Pete , I have a wee bit of painting to do before you will see it but as it’s winter over here it’s a good excuse to stay indoors and paint 😅😅😅

These are really nice! I like the faces and how they have real character about them. The hoods add to that individuality too. The rural backdrop seems to suit them perfectly! 🙂 Really impressed with your colour palette too, the various rustic shades of green and brown seem natural.
Like you, I look forward to seeing set 2.

Thanks mate 🤓they are particularly well sculpted, as you said the faces are as well but that in itself means I’m limited to two sprues , anymore an they would become very noticeable 🧐. That said they are labeled scout so I think twenty odd would be ample for that role.
